Do you know what's in your Kitty's food?

Almost all commercially prepared pet foods are formulated with ingredients that are inappropriate for carnivores. Corn, wheat, and processed waste are not health-promoting ingredients for cat food. While many cats do occasionally eat some grasses, vegetable proteins are not a main staple for domesticated pets. Vegetables should only be added to their foods in limited amounts, and only if the vegetables are fresh.

If you have a cat who has perpetual stomach or skin problems that won't go away, you need to take a close look at what's in the food they're eating. Corn can cause 'hot spots" in both cats and dogs, which are bald, irritated spots that appear in places fur should be.

Vomiting and diarrhea is another problem that can seem incurable when you have a kitten who is very sensitive to unnatural ingredients.

If you can commit to making food for your cat for only one week, you'll be able to see whether or not it is the food causing the problem. If your feline's health problem is alleviated, they you've discovered a sensitivity, and you can then choose which path to take. You may want to try different commercially prepared natural/organic/holistic foods, or you may choose to stick to making home made foods.
